About Me

The creation of this blog was a random and not very exciting event, that occurred on April 1st 2013.

I saw the idea online, and had wanted to do an every-day photo diary type thing for a while but didn't know in what form. I was just going to upload photos to my Facebook, but this didn't allow me to write as much as I've now discovered I'd like to.

Although the blog is initially for just a photo a day, almost like an online photo album, I also like to add a bit of commentary.
I think, when I look back, when this year is up, it will be nice to see how I was feeling at the time too. It's just a shame that I didn't think to do this at the very start of this calendar year - silly me.
So for those who want to join me for the year, I thought I'd put up a page just explaining a little bit about me.

My name is Natasha, I am currently 18 years old and live in the South-West of England. I have finished studying Law, English Language and Psychology A Levels. I also did Sociology and Critical Thinking at AS Level and happily said goodbye to them. I have no real plans after I finish school, but I am hopefully looking to get a full-time job. I did have a little looks at some Universities but my main stumbling block is what to study! I would love to move a bit more central to the country, but I don't think that alone is a good enough reason to spend £9000 per year, studying a subject I'm not passionate about. But who knows, maybe in a couple of years I'll work out what I want to do, and decide to further my education.
But until then, I will happily visit my friends at their universities, and enjoy not having the weight of debt on my shoulders! I'm also looking to doing some  travelling and missionary work for the church once I save some money.

The camera I used for most of the first pictures was my brothers camera, Cannon eos 1100D, which he kindly lets me borrow every now and again. However I now mainly use my camera, which is a Canon PowerShot A2400.

This blog gives me the chance to document what I think/hope will be an exciting one. With all the 18th birthdays, the last days of college, a really good summer planned, and a new adventure starting in September, I think it's one I will want to remember. If you have read my blog, or even have just read this page, thank you very much for taking the time.
I hope you enjoy it,

Natasha x
